We had an outage in the Brussels Area. As a consequence all Internet & Telephony users in the big region of Brussels were disconnected.
A short circuit caused a power failure in the whole rack.
If you have no Internet after the outage we advise you to restart your modem first.

ReplyDeleteWe have a few customers who are effected. It seems that BGC clients still have an internet connection. (according to info from my clients).

DeleteI hope that edpnet will reimburse the cost of internet and telephone for the day. It would seem the correct commercial gesture in such a case.
ReplyDeleteLarge Brussels area seems to be affected (Waterloo, Uccle, etc). No problem reported in Nivelles.

DeleteThe problem is not small network traffic (like downloading a pdf) but rather live video sessions and voice over ip. At the moment i am tethered to my 3g phone, but really slow connection :-)
